SEARCH COMMITTEE NOTIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHANCELLOR The Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. (D) No. 204, Higher Education (H2) Department, dated 19.11.2020, have constituted a Search Committee to recommend a panel of three names to the Hon’ble Governor-Chancellor for appointment of the Vice-Chancellor to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.

The Search Committee invites applications for the post of the Vice-Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, from distinguished academicians with highest levels of competence, integrity, moral and institutional commitment and possessing the required educational qualifications and work experience as notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu in their G.O.Ms.No. 187, Higher Education (K-2), Department, dated 14th July 2017 copy of which is available in the Bharathidasan University Website http://www.bdu.ac.in

The Vice-Chancellor shall hold the office for a period of three years or up to the age of 70 years whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates possessing the required qualifications and experience may download the prescribed application format from the Website of Bharathidasan University. The filled in application shall be sent (only in the prescribed format) by e-mail and a hard copy by post duly superscribing the envelope “Application for the post of the Vice-Chancellor, Bharathidasan University” so as to reach the following address on or before 05.00 p.m. of 12th January 2021.
