Direct Recruitment of Computer Instructors Grade - I (PG Cadre) for the year 2018-2019
The Board had issued notification No.09/2019, dated 01.03.2019 for the Direct Recruitment of Computer Instructors Grade I (PG Cadre) - 2018-19. As per the said notification, the Board conducted Computer Based competitive examination from 23.06.2019 and 27.06.2019 and exam result was published on 25.11.2019. The Board conducted certificate verification for the shortlisted candidate’s in1:2 ratio from 08.01.2020 to 10.01.2020. The provisional selection was also published on 11.01.2020. After the publication of the result, various Writ Petitions have been filed to quash the provisional selection list before the Principal Bench as well as Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.
On 17.12.2020, The Hon’ble High Court of Madras in W.P.No. 35198, 35202 of 2019 etc., batches has ordered as follows,
“ …. leaving aside three centres, the respondents are at liberty to go ahead with the appointments of the selected candidates from other centres and in that process, they should ensure that none of the candidates from the disputed three centres should be favoured with the appointments. To that extent, the writ petitions challenging the entire recruitment shall stand dismissed.”
The Hon’ble High Court of Madras has also ordered as follows,
“….Since this Court has issued directions in this batch of writ petitions giving liberty to the Government to go ahead with the appointment in respect of the undisputed 116 Centres, the interim orders passed by the learned Single Judges of the Madurai Bench in respect of the present selection stand clarified/modified to the extent of the directions as contained herein.”
In compliance with the order of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras in the above mentioned Writ Petitions, the Board had decided to revise the provisional selection list already published on 11.01.2020 and the same is hereby released.
This selection is purely provisional and is subject to the outcome of various Writ Petitions pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Madras and Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. For this provisional selection process, the candidatures of the persons who attended the computer based examination on 23.06.2019 in the following three centres viz (1) KSR College of Engineering, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District (2)Annai College of Engineering & Technology, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District. (3) Kongunadu College of Engineering & Technology, Thiruchirappalli District. have not been considered as per order of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras in W.P.No. 35198, 35202 of 2019 and Batches and this is subject to the final outcome of the Hon’ble High Court in the said Writ Petitions.
